The effect of Kahoot on undergraduate student anxiety and confidence when studying statistics

چکیده
Many undergraduate students are required to study statistics, but often struggle understanding concepts, lack engagement, confidence, or feel anxious about statistics. Kahoot is a game-based learning platform that can be used increase student engagement and through real-time quizzes. This aimed evaluate the use of on improving students’ experience studying statistics in an (year 2) course. Pre post Likert scale questionnaires (including Statistical Anxiety Measure - SAM) were collect responses their experience. Questions related anxiety, for quiz, additional questions impact behavioural engagement. Post survey results indicate positive changes perceptions towards terms anxiety confidence. was shown have significant effect confidence also linked lowered anxiety.
